Jack'd Off: Colts Receiver Reggie "Whine"!

What Jack’d me off this time is Reggie Wayne who will from this day forward be known as “Reggie Whine”.

Having a problem with Ray Lewis doing his signature dance at the final snap of his final play ever after 17 years of heroism in Baltimore is just plain stupid.  “Whine” referred to the dance as being “disrespectful” and said that they had already done enough tribute at the end of each quarter.  Idiot.

Whine needs to consider the emotions Lewis brings to every player and fan in Baltimore. The FHOF is a complete legend in football and everyone loves it.  Both he and his fans are truly sad to see his saga come to an end.  He had to do his famous last dance on the field at some point.  Even if Indianapolis had won the game, I bet Lewis would have been dancing for his fans.

Lewis played 17 seasons in Baltimore where he won two league Defensive Player of the Year awards as well as winning the Super Bowl in 2001 and being named the Super Bowl MVP.  He is known to be heavily involved in charity work, even winning the JB award in 2006 which is presented to the player that shows  the best “act of kindness” towards his community.  I watched a documentary on Ray Lewis earlier 2012 on the NFL Network and you can just see how on and off the football field he makes everyone around him better. There is something about Ray Lewis that can motivate people more than any other.

Bottom line, the dance wasn’t disrespecting an Indianapolis Colts player, logo, or franchise in any way at all,  I think every football player and fan, except for Reggie Whine, loved the dance and is going to miss seeing Ray Lewis’ play every week.  I know I want to see Baltimore play in the Bowl this year because as soon as Baltimore’s playoff run ends, it also spells the end of one of the game’s all-time great defensive players.

Tune in every weekday to “Beyond the Field” from 8-10pm as the guys welcome some fantastic guests, have great banter and take your live calls, and tune in on Sunday Nights to “The Fastest 30 minutes in Football” as we recap all the weekends biggest events, the best way we know how on the Last Word Radio Network.
