Fantasy Profile: Cody Parkey, K, Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles kicker Cody Parkey burst onto the scene in 2015 with the second most kicking points in the league, trailing only New England All-Pro Stephen Gostkowski. Parkey showed excellent accuracy, making 32-out-of-36 field goal attempts; including a perfect four-for-four from 50-plus yards. Although he has struggled this year in the preseason, his job appears secure. As the kicker for the fastest paced offense in the league, Parkey will get plenty of opportunities to put points on the board for the Eagles. This will be a recipe for success for Parkey this season, and his fantasy owners will reap the benefits of Chip Kelly’s hurry up philosophy.
