Fantasy Profile: Todd Gurley, RB, St. Louis Rams
Georgia Bulldogs back Todd Gurley was one of the best running backs in all of college football and was considered a Heisman candidate before a suspension concerning signed merchandise, followed by a torn ACL marred his season. Before his injury, Gurley compiled 911 yards rushing and 9 touchdowns in just six games.
Gurley was selected 10th overall in the 2015 NFL draft by the St Louis Rams. Todd Gurley will have some competition from second year running back Tre Mason who was a solid running back in the second half of the 2014 season. St. Louis has one off the better defenses in the NFL which will keep them in games and the offence will likely be running the ball a lot as they will play a ball control style of game. If Gurley can come back from his injury he should be in position to compile solid numbers in 2015, even as a rookie running back.
