Fantasy Profile: Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay Packers

Jordy Nelson had a career year in 2014 with 98 receptions for 1519 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was very consistent, scoring eight or more points in 12 out of Green Bay’s 16 games. Nelson seemed to be Aaron Rodgers’ favorite redzone target, making fantasy owners ecstatic with his scoring rate. He was a top three wide receiver in 2014 and it should stay that way in 2015.

Nelson underwent hip surgery in the offseason but is expected to be fully healthy. Green Bay has a lethal offense in 2015 with Nelson, Randall Cobb, Devante Adams, and Eddie Lacy all returning. Despite having to face some of the best defenses in the NFL in 2015, Nelson should be very productive and should be taken in the first two rounds of every draft.
