MLS Pick ‘Em 2015: Week 2 – POR v. LAG
Last week was a blood bath. Ned Joyce gave all of us a run for our money with the only correct pick last week. Now he’s leading the pack with 3 points. Here’s how the standings look:
- Ned Joyce – 3pts
- Everyone Else – 0pts
This week, the Galaxy travel to Portland to take on the Timbers. The Galaxy are coming off of a comfortable home win against the Fire in Week 1. Portland are trying to find their first win after a tough draw against RSL in which Nick Rimando stood on his head the keep the Timbers off the board. Here’s how our “experts” see this one playing out.

LAG didn’t impress me in week 1. Got the result against a poor Chicago team, a much better Timbers will give them a run for their money. |
| Eric WalcottStaff Writer@ericwalcott | Draw (1-1) | Timbers much improved defense will frustrate LA but key injuries for Portland will turn this into a defensive battle. |

Portland recover from unlucky opener, while a less-than-impressive LA are exposed.. #Nagbe4MVP |
| Jeff KrauseEditor@DFBJeff | Draw (1-1) | Playing at Providence is a tall task for even the best teams in MLS. Robbie Keane may flip off America, but it’ll be due to his own frustration, not outside forces. |
| Russ McKenzieDepartment Head@Russ_McKenzie | Draw (1-1) | Whereas the Fire were little more than a speed bump for LA, Portland will be more of a challenge. I see more terrible finishing from the Galaxy |

No Goals from Portland last weekend. LAG continues to be an offensive Juggernaut in MLS. Things remain pat on Sunday. |
| Michael NortonEditor@MichaelNorton95 | LAG (1-0) |
Last week Portland got Rimando’d. This week they may face another stellar goalkeeper in Jaime Penedo. Robbie Keane will play the set-up man this week, as Gyasi Zardes opens his 2015 account. |

Portland defense plays strong again, Portland takes a lead but LAG storms back |
