Randall Cobb will be staying with the Green Bay Packers. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Packers wide receiver has agreed to a four-year, $40 million deal to stay in Green Bay. The deal reportedly includes $17 million in guaranteed money. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Cobb turned down more money elsewhere to stay with the Packers.

The 24-year-old was the Green Bay Packers second round pick, 64th overall, in the 2011 NFL Draft out of the University of Kentucky. He had his best season in 2014 with 91 receptions for 1287 yards, and 12 touchdowns. He also led the NFL in all purpose yards in 2012, and was awarded the NFL play of the year in 2011.
The deal means that Cobb will continue to team with Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy, and Jordy Nelson in one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL. Cobb and Nelson are locked up through 2018 and Rodgers through 2019.
With Randall Cobb off the board, the soon to be released Percy Harvin, Jeremy Maclin and Torrey Smith should step to the front of the 2015 free agent wide reciever class.
