Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli accepts FA charge
Mario Balotelli, 24, posted a picture on instagram that called his followers to “not be racist” and to “be like Mario, he’s an Italian plumber, created by Japanese people, who speaks English, and looks like a Mexican. And jumps like a black man and grabs coins like a jew.”
Balotelli’s actions may result in a fine or a ban, adding more fanfare to the already controversial Italian. He has missed the last six matches with a groin injury and has only scored two goals in 14 appearances for the club, still yet to score in a Premier League match for Liverpool after coming over from AC Milan in a highly publicized transfer.
Today’s revelation certainly isn’t going to help Mario Balotelli rejuvenate a shattered image, and be loved by the Anfield faithful.
