This Friday, the 2018 Indoor Football League (IFL) season kicks off with the Nebraska Danger hosting the Cedar Rapids Titans. Last year these two teams went toe to toe in the two games they played against one another. Both matches the Nebraska Danger defeated the Cedar Rapids Titans. This year, the Titans are looking for revenge.

Speaking of those Cedar Rapids Titans, their 2018 roster has been redesigned. Only three players from the 2017 roster have returned and are looking to make an impact on their opponents.

Wide Receiver Conner Hollenbeck played in 15 games. In those 15 games, he tallied 46 receptions, 550 yards, and 13 touchdowns.

On Special team’s kicker, Michael Georgetti is returning for another season. In 2017 he went 16-29 on field goals, for a total of 34 points.

Finally, returning for another season is Marvin McNutt, the head coach of the Cedar Rapids Titans. He is looking to lead the team to the playoffs and hopefully the United Bowl.

For the Nebraska Danger, they are coming off another playoff season. But this time, they failed to make it past the first round. Luckily they are returning two key pieces from the 2017 season.

For Defensive Lineman Colton Miles-Nash, in 8 games he played in he calculated 5.0 sacks for 12 yards. As for Defensive Back Defensive Back Courtney Hall, he got an interception for 22 yards, a 40-yard kick return. As for their head coach, they have a new one. This season for 2019, Mark Stoute will command the team in their quest for a United Bowl championship.
