The 2017 United Bowl is quickly approaching as the Arizona Rattlers will travel to South Dakota to take on the Sioux Falls Storm this Saturday at 5:05 p.m.

The Storm are six-time defending United Bowl Champions and will try to make it seven championships in a row this week.

Why the Sioux Falls Storm will win the United Bowl

“The Sioux Falls Storm are your Indoor Football League Champions.”

That’s been written after each of the past six IFL seasons.

Why wouldn’t it happen again?

The Storm are one of the most unique indoor football teams to ever play the game. With Lorenzo Brown heading the offense at quarterback, Sioux Falls is a run first type of team.

In a traditional indoor game, the big plays are achieved by passing the ball, but the Storm have made an art of running it.

Brown leads the IFL with 24 rushing touchdowns, making it very difficult for defenses to cover the quarterback run and pass.

“[Brown] is the best running back in the league,” Wichita Falls Nighthawks Coach Billy Back said on the F.A.N. Show Wednesday. “He happens to play quarterback.”

Sioux Falls’ only two losses this season are to Wichita Falls, whom ultimately missed the playoffs.

During their victories against the dynasty, Coach Back and the Nighthawks were forcing Brown to pass, more often than run.

Although, Brown is decently accurate, that proved to be the winning formula for Wichita Falls.

Along with Brown, IFL defenses have had to worry about Storm running back Robbie Rouse.

Rouse is fifth in the league in both total rushing yards and yards per game.

When the all of this is put together, it makes the Storm one of the most dangerous offenses in the league.

Nothing is for sure, but if the Storm utilize the run game against Arizona, then they’ll earn their seventh straight title.
