High Powered Offense on tap for Bloomington Edge vs. Omaha Beef

In the last article, we previewed the Revolution, who are based in Allen, TX going up against the Dodge City Law. Now, let’s turn our attention to one of the games in the north. This game will feature the Bloomington Edge and the Omaha Beef.

This season, the Bloomington Edge and the Omaha Beef went head to head in their first meeting on March 8th. The Beef defeated the Edge 55-50.

Players To Watch

Bloomington

At quarterback, Caleb Holbrook, not only as a good arm that threw for 1919 yards, he also takes control of his team.

Next, we go to the speed demon. This season, running back Darrelynn Dunn lead the team in rushing yards and had 23 touchdowns. Whenever Dunn has the ball, expect him to not stick around.

The final impact player for the Bloomington Edge is J.J. Hayes. At the running back position, Hayes is probably the most important player on the game. In the 2017 regular season, Hayes led the team in receiving yards with 665 yards. Entering this week’s playoff game, will the team continue to give him more yards?

Omaha

For Omaha, you have to think with this team, there is no beef with quarterback Anthony Iannotti’s teammates. Even though the Omaha Beef’s quarterback is a rookie in the indoor game, his maturity has led him to the postseason as well as a very productive season.

This season, Iannotti completed 208 passes and thrown for 1528 yards. Not only does Iannotti have is very mature and have a good instinct, but he also has some good wheels on him. During the 2017 season, he led the team in rushing yards with 496.

In a close second, it’s Travis Ribbing. Although playing in only five games, Ribbing is one of the Beef top receivers and for this week, looks to show everyone what he can do in one of the biggest games in indoor football.

Finally, Jonathan Ray at the wide receiver spot. Even though he only got 31 receiving yards, Ray is looking not only to improve his numbers but also is looking to improve his team as they hope to make it to the second round.

Saturday’s game is shaping up to be a great one, and fans can catch all the action on eversport.tv.
