The CIF was forced to vacate two wins from the Dodge City Law, citing that the team did not, “follow and adhere to the league operations manual and guidelines with regards to uploading video.”
CIF Vacates Two Wins From Dodge City Law
As a result, Dodge City’s record will move from 9-2 to 7-4.
The victories taken away from the Law’s record will not be awarded to any other teams. All teams’ records, besides Dodge City’s will stay the same.
This puts the standings, one week away from the playoffs, in a big loop.
The Sioux City Bandits have now clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
In the South, Duke City moves into a three-way tie for second place, one game behind the Amarillo Venom, who have now clinched the division.
Dodge City can still make the playoffs simply by beating Duke City this Saturday when the two face off at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, NM.
The game will kick off at 7:05 p.m. CT and as always will be broadcast live online with eversport.com.
