The Wichita Falls Nighthawks have acquired wide receiver Demarius Washington from the Arizona Rattlers. The Nighthawks lead the Indoor Football League in total offense by 161 yards. Quarterback Charles McCullum leads the league in passing yards per game and touchdowns.
Nighthawks wide receiver Jordan Jolly leads the league in receiving yards per game. The team can confidently say that they have the best offense in the league and it’s not close.
Today, that offense just got better.
Wichita Falls Nighthawks Acquire Wide Receiver Demarius Washington
Washington has missed two games this season, and is averaging 53.4 yards per game on 14 receptions.
Wichita Falls will land Washington on his sixth different IFL team in the past three seasons of play. He spent time with the Green Bay Blizzard, Nebraska Danger, and Billings Wolves two seasons ago. He remained in Colorado for the duration of the 2016 season.
On the other side of the trade, Jordan Mosely is a big offensive lineman that worked out in rookie camp with the New York Giants years ago.
It doesn’t seem like the trade was centered around getting Mosely. Arizona’s rushing attack is second in the league behind the Sioux Falls Storm.
Both players will take the field with each of their respective teams this weekend.
