This week, Seattle travels up to Portland for a rematch of last weekend’s lopsided win for the Sounders in the latest round of THE rivalry in the PNW. Seattle has gone from zero to hero thanks to a new DP firing on all cylanders hitting the ground running. Seattle has turned a terrible start to the season into a team that might make the playoffs going undefeated in their last five matches. Portland has had a rough going all year to find consistency and has now lost 4 of their last 5. Portland has won just twice at home since July 4th. Will Seattle continue to rise while Portland falls deeper into the abyss? Let’s see what the experts say.

Dempsey might not be playing, but Seattle is too hot right now to drop this one to the misfiring Timbers.

Seattle is on a roll and Portland…isn’t, but the Timbers will find a way to at least get a point at home.

Seattle is rockin and rolling and lodeiro is why. Sounded are going to pour it on in this one

Matt Pollard

Fanendo Adi is back with a vengeance after missing the flight to Seattle. Sounders on short rest. Portland squeaks one out in a lit Cascadia brawl.

Daniel Sperry

SEA

It will be lit.

Joe Hojnacki

POR

The Timbers are rested up while Seattle played in midweek. Portland won’t make the mistake of leaving Adi on the bench again. The Nigerian sides the late winner to keep Seattle below the red line.

Because I said so!
