Last Word SC: Chicago Fire (Guillermo Rivera) And Seattle Sounders Playoffs Push
On this episode of Last Word SC Radio, Matt Pollard sits down with two guests to talk about underdog uprisings in Major League Soccer. In segment one, we have Guillermo Rivera of Fire Confidential on to talk all things Chicago Fire. They talk about the relief of getting a road win and the direction the club is going for the future. Guillermo promptly squashes Matt’s hype train of #FireMakeThePlayoffs2016. They do talk about youth development and possible DP signings. Bastian Schweinsteiger as a box-to-box midfielder anyone?
In segment two, Matt brings back an old friend and former co-host, Roger Cleaves. Matt and Rog break down what’s been cooking with the Seattle Sounders and how Nicolas Lodeiro has revolutionized Seattle’s attach. They boys talk Cascadia and Ozzie Alonso being a Bull in a China Shop. Lastly, Rog gives his take on what the Sounders must do to make the playoffs.
In the Round Table, Matt goes solo to talk about Hope Solo and Richard Chaplow getting suspended for saying bad things.
This episode is jammed packed with good stuff. Enjoy it with some Friday Tacos while you troll your Montreal Impact fan coworker about their loss to Chicago at home.
