Evander Kane Arrested for June Bar Incident

Friday morning, Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane went to Buffalo Police and turned himself in.  He was then placed in handcuffs and taken away. Ashley Rowe of WKBW broke the story.

Evander Kane Arrested for June Bar Incident

Back in June, Evander Kane was kicked out of  a local bar after two females accused Kane of harassment.  They reported that Evander Kane grabbed the throat of one of the women and tried forcing her into a car, while the other said that he grabbed her arms and forced her out of the bar.  It was also said that Kane refused to leave and put his hands on the bouncer.  The bar’s manager said that Kane was not involved in any altercations that night, but his friend who accompanied him was.

Kane was arrested, processed, and given a court date. He is facing a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespassing as well as four non-criminal harassment violations.  At the time of the arrest, Kane was with his lawyers. They stated that he plans to defend himself and that the charges should not impact Kane’s future with the Buffalo Sabres.  Kane refused to talk to reporters whom where on scene.  Authorities declined to say whether or not they believed Kane to be intoxicated at the time of the alleged incident.
