On July 14th WWE and 2K revealed the upcoming collectors edition of WWE 2K17. 2K Sports announced that NXT will be the focus on the upcoming WWE 2k17 collectors edition. WWE’s development brand NXT will add to the video games series of rich collectors editions.
WWE & 2K Reveal NXT Collectors Edition For WWE 2K17
The Reveal
WWE formally revealed details for the upcoming 2K title via conference call. Hosted by Triple H alongside Shinsuke Nakamura. WWE 2K17 NXT Edition was revealed as this years 2K collectors edition. It was revealed that there will only be 50,000 copies available worldwide. WWE 2K17 NXT Edition is exclusive for Xbox One and PS4. Available at the price of $100 and £79.99 in UK retailers. Fans can pre-order their copy now.
The Content
The WWE 2K17 NXT edition shall include several bonuses for fans who pre-order. The NXT edition shall include a Copy of WWE 2K17, NXT Enhancement pack; consisting of 50% boosts for players during their Mycareer playthroughs when their superstar is in NXT. Not to mention three additional playable superstars in Apollo Crews, Nia Jax and Shinsuke Nakamura. The limited edition also includes a lithograph signed by the “King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura, an eight inch figurine of Finn Balor, an authentic piece of the ring from NXT Takeover London and the Bill Goldberg pre-order bonus pack.
Alternatively fans can purchase the three playable NXT superstars on the launch day of WWE 2K17. This shall be exclusively for both Xbox 360 and PS3 players. Additionally 2K announced that all three superstars will be available on launch day for players who purchase WWE 2K17 NXT Edition on the launch day.

In the past year NXT as a brand has been the HUB of success for WWE. A successful brand for building and creating future WWE superstars. Some of the industry’s most sought after names have passed through the brand, thus providing it with a lot of attention and notoriety. It is great to see NXT as a brand have the spotlight shone on them, if the past year is anything to go by then NXT merits every bit of success.
