MLS leading assist man and New York Red Bulls attacking mid-fielder, Sacha Kljestan will be heading to San Jose, California on July 28th. Kljestan will be joining 25 of the top players in MLS to take on English Premier League side Arsenal in the annual mid-summer classic. The Gunners from London finished second in the league table last seasog. In addition, they made the last 16 in the UEFA Champions League. Kljestan will be one of 16 players who will also be appearing in their first MLS All-Star game.

Red Bulls Designated Player named to 26-man MLS all-star team
Kljestan has played a huge role for the New York Red Bulls attack this season. The Seton Hall graduate has a league leading 10 assists, while also tacking on four goals. Kljestan tallied two big goals against rivals the Philadelphia Union in a 2-2 draw this past Sunday. Kljestan has been particularly impressive on free kicks and corners. He has helped the Red Bulls to a league leading 14 goals from set pieces this year.
The Red Bulls currently sit in third place in the MLS Eastern Conference. They will meet Eastern Conference leaders and rivals New York City FC next Sunday at Red Bull Arena.
