For the second straight game of the Boston Celtics Summer League Schedule, Abdel Nader was given the least amount of minutes on the team. He tabbed 11 minutes in the Celtics‘ 89-82 win over the Jazz, and walked away with six points, five rebounds, and a +7.
Abdel Nader shows Glimpses of Greatness, Still no time
Although Nader is doing well with the time he is given, it will be tough for him to show off his skills without getting into the game more frequently, and that’s on the Celtics’ staff.
Now, Boston will play not only the Utah Jazz Summer League in Salt Lake City, but also the Las Vegas Summer League The amount of games at least, will not be sparse for the team.
The problem lies in the amount of minutes the former Cyclone gets at a time as well. It is not like Nader is playing 11 consecutive minutes, he checked in three different times on Tuesday.
During one shift, he brought back his above-the-rim game, and made this dunk look easy.

Shortly after that dunk, Nader was pulled from the game. It is that kind of inconsistency that can interrupt a players rhythm, and it should not happen on that floor.
Nader and the Celtics will get another shot at this on Thursday when they take on the Spurs at 6:00pm CT on NBATV.
LWOS’ Cyclone analyst Connor Ferguson will continue to have coverage and live updates on former Cyclones in Summer League action on his twitter account (@cfchangs9) and here on the site.
