The Suns originally acquired the thirteenth pick from the Washington Wizards, as part of a deal for forward Markieff Morris at the trade deadline in February. Their addition of Chriss will go along with another incoming rookie power forward, Dragan Bender, whom they selected with the fourth overall pick in the draft.
In addition to the thirteenth pick, the Kings will receive the 28th overall pick in the draft, which the Suns acquired from the Boston Celtics and originally belonged to the Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as wing player Bogdan Bogdanovic, who played for Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Basketball Super League last year and will not move to the NBA in the upcoming 2016-17 season. Wojnarowski reports that the Suns will send a 2020 second round draft pick to the Kings, as well.
