MLS Pick ‘Em 2016 – Week 7 – RBNY v. OCSC
Last week’s win by FC Dallas was perfectly predicted for two of the experts, Eric Walcott and myself, with Russ picking up his first points of the season. Eric has picked four scores perfectly in the first 6 games this year. We all bow down to the reigning champs glory. Only a mild shake in the standings this week. Here’s how it all looks:

This week, Orlando City comes to the Big Apple looking to grab some valuable road points against a Red Bull team that is looking like a shell of last year’s team. Will NY start to turn their season around against, or will Orlando continue to climb the Eastern Standings? Let’s see what the experts think.

Nationally televised game, and the Red Bulls finally get off the snide. Orlando will still be reeling from that wild (and controversial) finish last weekend against the Revs. BWP scores in this one. Kaka will create something to pull the Lions back, but some second half adjustments from Jesse Marsch and a collective “enough is enough” from New York will get them three points. |

Red Bulls have major scoring issues, and have really bad defensive issues too. Orlando feels hard-done by the result against New England even though the result was a fair reflection of the game. Orlando was clearly the better team when Baptista, Molino, Larin, and Kaká all played at the same time. The only reason that didn’t happen was the midweek game, so I’ll take Orlando. Larin bags a brace and they send NYRB spiraling. |

The Red Bulls have been a sad, sad team when it comes to scoring this year. Orlando has been pretty good since the return of Kaka and I don’t see them showing up enough to drop points to the worst team in the league. A late goal from the Brazilian wins it. |

Orlando haven’t quite hit their stride yet, but RBNY is about 26 miles off theirs. Their defense is weak and shaky, and their attack is no longer a force to be reckoned with. Kaka will easily pick them apart, especially in the form he’s in.” |
