The following is a press release provided to LWOS by Saint Louis FC of the United Soccer League (USL), concerning one of their players, Vince Cicciarelli winning one of the league’s weekly honors.
ST. LOUIS (April 12, 2016) – Today the USL announced the Team of the Week and Vince Cicciarelli has earned his second nod in as many weeks.
Vince Cicciarelli Named to USL Team of the Week
The rookie out of Notre Dame and SLU followed his Player of the Week performance with another good outing against the Oklahoma City Energy FC on Saturday night. Cicciarelli scored in the 23rd minute to accumulate his third goal of the season in a 2-2 draw on the road.
This is Saint Louis FC’s second Team of the Week appearance in 2016.
