We were fortunate to have two guests on this draft-dedicated episode. The first, retired National wide receiver Kito Poblah, talked with us about his unique citizenship, unique draft path, and about his post-career life with Finish First Football in Winnipeg. We also touched on the re-signing of Emmanuel Davis by Hamilton, a massive signing considering off-season losses and losses at the corner-back position going back to Delvin Breaux.
Our second guest, Eric Matthews of BomberBuzz.com, presented a thorough review of his top-ten picks from his 2016 mock-draft. Some great insight in this segment. Our own Kelly Bale penned a great piece this week on what the CFL means to his five year old boy. Draft-eligible former University of Manitoba Bison David Onyemata may have some stops on his way to the CFL, but the rewards might be plenty along the way.
