According to reports the Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed winger Colin McDonald to a two-year contract extension.

Flyers sign Colin McDonald to multi-year extension
The Philadelphia Flyers have signed 6-2, 219-lb right wing Colin McDonald to a multi-year contract extension, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
McDonald, 31 (9/30/1984), has recorded 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points in 33 games with the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, headed into the team’s game tonight vs. Utica. He was named the captain of the Phantoms at the start of the season. McDonald has also appeared in five games for the Flyers this year, recording one goal.
McDonald signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flyers on July 3, 2015. He came to the Flyers from the New York Islanders organization, where he played the last three seasons between the Islanders and their AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
McDonald has appeared in 145 career NHL games with the Flyers, Islanders, Pittsburgh and Edmonton, during which time he has scored 19 goals and added 26 assists for 45 points. He was an AHL all-star in 2011 with Oklahoma City, a season in which he posted 42 goals and 16 assists for 58 points in 80 games.
McDonald was drafted by Edmonton in the second round (51st overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He played four seasons at Providence College before embarking on his professional career in 2007.
