StubHub Center to Host Arsenal FC-Chivas Guadalajara Match July 31
CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016) – StubHub Center and the LA Galaxy will host a match between Arsenal FC and Club Deportivo Guadalajara, commonly known as Chivas, on Sunday, July 31. Arsenal will visit StubHub Center to face Chivas as part of the club’s U.S. tour that will also see the club take on the 2016 Major League Soccer All-Star Team at Avaya Stadium in San Jose on July 28. Additional information on Arsenal-Chivas tickets and match time will be announced at a later date.
Arsenal FC, currently tied for second place in the Barclays Premier League, are managed by the legendary Arsène Wenger, with the current squad featuring global stars like Mesut Özil, Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Petr Čech. Through Wenger’s leadership, Arsenal FC have built a renowned reputation of playing some of the most attractive and exciting soccer in the world.

Chivas, who play in Liga MX, Mexico’s top division, is one of the most winning teams in the history of Mexican soccer, with 11 league titles, three Cup titles and a CONCACAF Championship. The only club in Mexico to exclusively field Mexican players, Chivas celebrates its 110th anniversary in 2016. The Mexican club is managed by Argentinian manager Matías Jesús Almeyda. Chivas is led by a lineup of standout players, including veteran forward Omar Bravo, Carlos Peña, Isaac Brizuela, former Real Salt Lake defender Carlos Salcedo, and Raul Lopez.
