Top defensive back prospect Kristian Fulton has made his decision, and will attend Louisiana State University next year. He made his announcement on National Signing Day, and is a big get for Les Miles and the Tigers.

Kristian Fulton has been honed in on his possible choices for college from the get-go. The 5-star defensive back from Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, Louisiana had plenty of options. The entire SEC went after 6-0, 177 pound defensive back.
He had offers from Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia among others, but he only took three of his allowable five official visits because he had specific schools on his radar early on. His visit to Florida last weekend, capped his three school schedule after having also gone to LSU and Arkansas.
Fulton’s dad told Nola.com that he had his specific opinions also. He said he had a lot of respect for Arkansas but did not like the way coaching staff indicated that his son could come in and start right away. Instead, he said, the coaches at LSU and Florida told Fulton he would have to work to earn his playing time.
That seemed to have some impact as Fulton went into national signing day with Florida and LSU the only two schools remaining on his list, with LSU as the favorite since Les Miles does not have an extensive history of losing Louisiana talent.
Fulton is ranked by ESPN as the #3 cornerback in the country and is highly prized for his quickness and change of direction abilities.
