Fantasy Football Starts and Sits for Week 15

Which players should you be starting and which ones should you be steering clear of in fantasy football week 15?

One of the most crucial parts to playing fantasy football is playing the match-up. Now some players are match-up proof. You are not going to sit Aaron Rodgers or Adrian Peterson. These are some Fantasy football starts and sits for week 15 to help you win this weeks match-up.

Fantasy Football Starts and Sits for Week 15

Starts

Matthew Stafford

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford had a rough start to the season but since the bye he has been solid. Since the bye, Stafford has averaged 20 fantasy points per game. In week 15, he has a great match-up against the New Orleans Saints who are allowing the most points to quarterbacks this season.

Blake Bortles

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles has been on fire lately. Over his last three games he is averaging 25 points per game. In week 15 he faces the Atlanta Falcons who have been tough on quarterbacks this season. With the Jaguars still in the playoff hunt and the injury to running back T.J Yeldon, Bortles will have more opportunities and should produce solid numbers this week

Jeremy Hill

Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill has struggled this season and has also been in a time share with Giovani Bernard. With the injury to quarterback Andy Dalton, Hill will see a increase in touches in week 15 against San Francisco. The 49ers are giving up the most points to running backs this season.

David Johnson

Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson has been having a solid rookie season. With quarterback Carson Palmer playing some of the best football of his career, Johnson will have plenty of opportunities to produce big numbers in week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are giving up the 11th most points to running backs this season.

Jeremy Maclin

Kansas City wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has been solid this season and with the running game now struggling Maclin has been getting more targets. In week 15, Maclin has a great match-up against the Baltimore Ravens who are giving up the most points to wide receivers this season.

John Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown is one of the most explosive wide receivers in the NFL, and has the chance for a big play every time he touches the ball. He is currently averaging nine points per game and in week 15 he has the Philadelphia Eagles who are giving up the second most points to wide receivers this season.

Richard Rodgers

Green Bay Packers tight end Richard Rodgers has come on of late and is averaging six points per game. He is getting a lot of targets from Aaron Rodgers and has a great match-up in week 15 vs the Oakland Raiders who are giving up the second most points to tight ends this season.

Julius Thomas

Over the past four games Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas has been one of the best tight ends in fantasy football. This week he is going up against the Atlanta Falcons who are giving up the 12th most points to tight ends this season.

Sits

Eli Manning

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has been up and down this season. He is coming off a solid game in week 14, but he has a bad match-up in week 15 against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are one of the best defenses this season and is giving up the second fewest points to quarterbacks this season.

Matt Ryan

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been up and down all season. In recent weeks he has been only averaging 14 points per game. This week he is going up against the Jacksonville Jaguars who have been generous to quarterbacks this season. With Ryan struggling lately I wouldn’t trust him in your fantasy football playoffs.

Darren McFadden

Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden has been one of the most consistent running backs since taking over the starting role in Dallas. In week 15, he is going up against the New York Jets who are allowing the third fewest points to running backs this season.

DeMarco Murray

Murray was one one of the best running backs in 2014 but has been a bust this season. Over the last four games he is averaging three and a half fantasy points per game. In week 15 he is going up against the Arizona Cardinals who are giving up the seventh fewest points to running backs this season.

Travis Benjamin

Benjamin has been a solid flex option this season and is currently ranked 18th. In week 15 he is going up against the Seattle Seahawks who are giving up the sixth fewest points to wide receiver this season.

Jarvis Landry

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry has been one of the best fantasy wide receivers this season. In week 15, Landry is going up against the San Diego Chargers who are giving up the fourth fewest points to wide receivers this season.

Delanie Walker

Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker has been one of the most consistent tight ends this season and is averaging eight points per game. He has a tough match-up this week against the New England Patriots who are allowing the fourth fewest points to tight ends this season.

Travis Kelce

Kelce is one of the most talented tight ends in the NFL but is inconsistent when it comes to fantasy. The Chiefs tight end has scored four points or fewer in four out of the last five games. He’s facing the Baltimore Ravens this week who are giving up the third fewest points to tight ends this season.
