Canada Announces World Junior Selection Camp Roster

Team Canada is looking to win the World Junior Championship for their second time in two years, however this is something the team has not been able to do since 2005-2009, where they won five consecutive championships. Fans are not too worried however, because Team Canada’s roster is what the kids on the team would refer to as a “beauty”.

From the following roster, Canada will have to select a final group of 22 players for the team.  Based on previous years this is likely to be 13 forwards, 7 defencemen and 2 goaltenders.

The 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship will be the 40th edition of the tournament. It will be hosted in Helsinki, Finland.  The tournament runs from December 26, 2015 to January 5, 2016.
