Michal Roszival is ready to go at it for another year, with the team he has won two Stanley Cups with, the Chicago Blackhawks. Today it was announced that the Blackhawks had signed the veteran defenseman to a one-year deal worth $600,000. In addition to the base salary, there is an extra $200,000 in bonuses based on games played.

Blackhawks sign Michal Rozsival to a One-Year Deal
A week before inking the deal, Roszival was granted a player try-out by the Blackhawks. The 37-year old Czech Republic native had played in 65 games during the regular season where he recorded one goal and 12 assists. Roszival would go on to play in 10 more games, where he registered just one assist, in the 2015 playoffs before he suffered a fractured ankle in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals against the Minnesota Wild.
Although the cap room is tight in Chicago, Roszival comes in cheap, adds depth and a veteran presence for the team that has won three Stanley Cups in the last six years. Out of those winning teams, Rozsival has claimed two rings with the Blackhawks. One in 2013 and one just recently this past June. The Hawks managed to make some cap room when they dealt Kris Versteeg to the Carolina Hurricanes last week.
This right handed shot defenseman that has already 890 games played in his NHL career will be entering 15th season and his fourth as a member of the Blackhawks.
