2015 Italian Grand Prix Force India Preview

Force India head to Monza this weekend after some mixed results from previous races. Sergio Perez shined last time out, even challenging Hamilton for the lead in Spa, while Hulkenberg retired again with power unit problems. However, the German has received a confidence boost ahead of this weekend with the announcement that he is set to remain with the Silverstone based squad until the end of 2017.

2015 ITALIAN GRAND PRIX FORCE INDIA PREVIEW

No. 27 Nico Hülkenberg

Form: 7/14/R/13/15/11/8/6/7/RET/DNS

Hulkenberg will be desperate to get a good result this weekend. After countless problems with his new Force India car, he has been unable to finish or even start the last two races. The Hulk doesn’t have a particularly strong record around Monza, nor a bad one either. Reliability will be the key factor to a good result for the German this year.

No. 11 Sergio Pérez

Form: 10/13/11/8/13/7/11/9/9/RET/5

Perez was on top form last time out in Spa, qualifying on the second row and bringing the car home in the top five. There have been a few questions as to whether he’ll be kept on by Force India next year with Pastor Maldonando rumoured to be in talks with the team. One thing for certain is that Perez has certainly upped his game since being paired with the highly rated Nico Hulkenberg. So much so that he is now out-qualifying him and out-racing him.
