Fantasy Profile: Connor Barth, K, Denver Broncos
Connor Barth was one of the more underrated kickers in the league in 2012 for Tampa Bay, recording 123 points in 15 games before an Achilles injury forced him to miss the entire 2013 season. After the Buccaneers decided to go with rookie Patrick Murray last season, Barth was without a job until Denver came calling in Week 13. Over the final five weeks of the season, Barth was one of the best kickers in the league recording 60 points on 15-of-16 field goals.
Headed into 2015, Barth looks like a strong selection for fantasy football, however keep an eye on the camp battle ensuing with Brandon McManus, whose longer leg could force Denver to stick with him to gain an edge on kickoffs. Whoever ends up the kicker for this Peyton Manning led offence, and kicking in the thin air of Mile High, is sure to put up a lot of fantasy points.
