Fantasy Profile: Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers

2014 was a rough year for Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers.  He threw for only 19 touchdowns and used his legs to get just one more. He also had double digit turnovers and missed the playoffs for the first time as a starter. Kaepernick’s deep ball is horrendous and overall talent on his team has gone down dramatically. Wide receivers Michael Crabtree and Stevie Johnson have both left San Francisco, as has workhorse running back Frank Gore. Kaepernick managed to scramble for over 600 yards but ran few plays with the option. This year might get better but by how much is tough to gauge.  He is yet another high risk, high reward quarterback.
