Fantasy Profile: Buffalo Bills Quarterbacks

We still don’t have a starting quarterback named for the Bills, so let’s look at all three.

Buffalo welcomes LeSean McCoy, Charles Clay and Percy Harvin to help ease the load off of the quarterback; adding them to Sammy Watkins, might just be the spark needed to succeed this year. But most likely it will be too much of a roller coaster for any of their quarterbacks to be worthy of a roster spot in most fantasy formats.

Tyrod Taylor: The former Ravens backup has the athletic ability to run with the ball, and the arm strength to throw it deep.  The Bills obviously have weapons, but this offense will be run heavy.  He may have Greg Roman as an offensive co-ordinator, but even then, don’t expect Colin Kaepernick numbers if he wins the job.

E.J. Manuel: Manuel got a year to sit and learn the NFL game behind Kyle Orton. This season, he gets a new coach and a fresh slate to try to salvage some sort of NFL career.

Matt Cassel:  He won’t run as much as Taylor or Manuel, and if he wins the job, you are merely getting another version of Kyle Orton.  Only in the deepest leagues should he be considered an option.
