Fantasy Profile: C.J. Anderson, RB, Denver Broncos

C.J. Anderson was on almost no one’s fantasy radar when we were drafting our teams in August last year. Now many fantasy players view him as a number one fantasy running back heading into 2015. In only seven starts last season Anderson compiled 849 yards rushing with eight touchdowns. He also rattled off 34 catches for 324 yards and two more touchdowns.

C.J. Anderson has the benefit of playing next to Peyton Manning and running backs playing with Peyton Manning score a lot of fantasy points. Gary Kubiak is the new head coach in Denver and has said that he will look to run the ball more. Anderson is the perfect fit for his mean zone blocking scheme he had implemented so well for Arian Foster in Houston. C.J. Anderson is in a prime spot to score a ton of points this year and will likely make some fantasy owner very happy. His only downside is a limited work load to form our opinion of him. The risk is minimal so you should look to add Anderson at the end of the first, or beginning of the second round.
