Fantasy Profile: Andre Williams, RB, New York Giants

Andre Williams was headed towards another season as the backup to Rashad Jennings; but as the season approaches, Williams appears to have at least pulled even with Jennings and in all likelihood will overtake the first and second down role early in the season. Williams will pair with newly acquired Shane Vereen as a throwback to the “Thunder and Lighting” backfield the Giants employed a decade ago. There does not appear to be a better bet for double digit touchdowns from later round picks than Williams, so look to add him as a RB4/RB5 type in the early double-digit rounds and hope the upward trend continues into the regular season.
