Fantasy Profile: Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Devonta Freeman came into the league last year and was seen as a good sleeper candidate.  Unfortunately, he was not able to take hold of the starting running back job in Atlanta. Freeman tallied 473 yards and two touchdowns on the season. Freeman will once again head into training camp with the chance to become Atlanta’s lead back this season.  He will face competition from third round pick Tevin Colman out of Indiana University for the starting role.

Freeman will most likely get the first crack at the starting job this year. However, he is a smaller running back and might not be able to handle a full work load. If Freeman can avoid this becoming a running back by committee and become the starter he could be in for a big 2015 season.
