Player Profile: Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings
Adrian Peterson missed most of the 2014 NFL season due to a suspension incurred when he faced legal charges surrounding the use of force in disciplining his son. A long drawn out court case, a ruling from Roger Goodell, a further court case, and then a spat with Vikings management followed. However, that all seems to be behind Peterson, who has been cleared to return to action.
Now back in the Vikings lineup, Peterson will be playing with the best quarterback he has played with in years in Teddy Bridgewater. With offensive coordinator Norv Turner calling the plays, Peterson looks like he could be in for a big season. Running backs under Turner have almost always tallied big numbers. LaDainian Tomlinson posted big numbers with Turner, and he even made Trent Richardson into a top ten fantasy back. The sky is the limit for Peterson, and with a year off Peterson will be well rested and ready to take the league by storm. Peterson has a good chance at finishing as the number one running back in 2015.
