Fantasy Profile: Justin Forsett, RB, Baltimore Ravens
Forsett had shown some flashes of productivity in the past for both Seattle and Houston, but no one expected the breakout he experienced in Baltimore in 2014. Always a strong yards-per-carry candidate, Forsett finally received a significant number of carries for that to equate to a big yardage total. Surprisingly strong for a diminutive running back, Forsett now gains the coaching experience of Marc Trestman to lead the Baltimore offense; Trestman is known for working wonders on the production of his lead backs.
It is likely that Forsett will see a slight drop in rushing statistics this year, being unable to match his 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns, however that will more than be made up for in a gain in receiving statistics. Offenses led by Trestman lean heavily on their running backs in the pass game, so the 44 receptions Forsett saw in 2014 should likely top 60 this season. A stud in PPR formats, but still a solid RB2 candidate in standard formats.
