Fantasy Profile: C.J. Spiller, RB, New Orleans Saints
The trade of Jimmy Graham for Max Unger and the loss of Kenny Stills in free agency has signaled to many the desire for New Orleans to become more ground oriented, but I do not think Drew Brees haters should be so sure to write him off. One of the big reasons for this is the addition of C.J. Spiller to bring back a player who can play the old Darren Sproles role in the offense.
Spiller will still get a fair amount of carries in the run game, in the range of 100 carries, while garnering somewhere in the vicinity of 70 receptions. I would expect Spiller to be able to accumulate close to 1,000 total yards and four or five touchdowns. A much better pick in PPR formats, Spiller should still provide solid RB3 value in standard formats.
