Fantasy Profile: Mark Ingram, RB, New Orleans Saints

Mark Ingram only played in nine games last year and still managed to take on a massive load, 226 carries resulting in 964 yards and 9 trips to pay dirt for the Saints. Ingram is a big bruising back with great inside vision and the ability to gain yards after contact. He has also proven to be very injury prone in his career. New Orleans drafted Khiry Robinson last year and in the off-season signed running back C.J. Spiller from Buffalo.  So there are some quality options behind Ingram.

While Ingram should be the primary first and second down back in New Orleans, Sean Peyton has proven time and time again his propensity to feature different backs in different games and kill the value of a fantasy football running back. Draft Ingram with caution this year.
