Fantasy Profile: Giovani Bernard, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
Giovani Bernard is a lit firecracker with the football in his hands, at any second he could POP and be gone for a long touchdown. He is shifty and versatile as a pass catcher and is able to lower his pads for the tough yards too. Marvin Lewis loves Bernard and will involve him heavily in 2015. Last year Bernard had an injury and Jeremy Hill stepped in and took over the offense. Hill did so well that he will likely still be the featured running back in an offense that runs the ball a ton. That doesn’t mean that Bernard should fall off of the fantasy football radar.
Giovani Bernard will still have a role in the Marvin Lewis offense and they improved an already proficient offensive line in Cincinnati. Target Bernard in round six or seven in standard leagues and move him up to as high as the fifth in your point per reception leagues.
