Fantasy Profile: Bishop Sankey, RB, Tennessee Titans
Bishop Sankey was the highest drafted running back in 2014 and was on fantasy football players’ radars as a solid second running back for their teams. He managed to underwhelm everybody as he didn’t even win the starting job from the perpetual back up Shonn Greene in the preseason. Then when given the opportunity to start later in the season, he once again anesthetized all of us with his pedestrian performances and straight ahead plodding.
Sankey should be on our radars again this year, however. Since he is going as a later round flier his value is actually where it should be. He is likely going to start the season as the starter and will have an opportunity to show he can handle the load. If he does not play well, the rookie David Cobb is waiting to take that job. Try to land both in your draft late if you missed a great running back early, to lock up the backfield and have a chance at decent player for your line up.
