Fantasy Profile: John Brown, Wide Receiver, Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals rookie wide receiver John Brown entered the 2014 season as a long shot to make a major impact in Arizona. Playing behind Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd did not project to leave that many targets to be dispersed to other receivers. However, Brown had other ideas and was able to put together a strong season of 48 receptions, 696 yards and five touchdowns even though starting quarterback Carson Palmer missed 10 games. A strong route runner with good hands, Brown was able to earn the trust of the Arizona coaching staff and worked his way into a major role that is likely to expand in 2015, especially with the injured hand of Floyd. Look for Brown to be a low end WR3 or high end WR4 option in your drafts, with upside should Floyd miss extended time or Fitzgerald encounter some injury issues.
