Fantasy Profile: Jordan Matthews, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

Jordan Matthews was drafted last year by the Philadelphia Eagles to step in and learn from Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper. By the end of the year he was a favorite option of back up quarterback Mark Sanchez. He had a great rookie campaign while hauling in 67 receptions for 872 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Jeremy Maclin is seeing red now as a Kansas City Chief. Which means Matthews has some big shoes to fill as the number one wide out in a high octane, Chip Kelly fueled offense. Matthews is in for a big gain in productivity in 2015 and will be a draft day steal if you can get him without reaching too high in your fantasy draft.  The Eagles have run the most plays in the NFL over the last two seasons, and their play with pace mentality should mean that they are up there again in 2015, leading to more opportunities for their skill position players.
