Fantasy Profile: Marques Colston, Wide Receiver, New Orleans Saints
Marques Colston is the mainstay of the Drew Brees offensive attack in New Orleans. Other big talent receivers have come and tried to upstage him but he and Jimmy Graham have been the focal point in that offense.
With 59 receptions for 902 yards and five touchdowns, Colston did not have the stats he is accustomed to getting. However, Jimmy Graham has taken his big frame and red zone talent to the Pacific Northwest and Brees will need a big bodied player to target for pay dirt.
Brandin Cooks was drafted in the first round of the 2014 draft and will take some looks away from Colston, but he is a small receiver and will not be as effective in the red zone. Look for Colston to improve his statistics in 2015 and look to add him late in fantasy drafts for an unbelievable bargain.
