Fantasy Profile: Kendall Wright, WR, Tennessee Titans

Kendall Wright is a good receiver on a bad team. While playing in 14 games last year and starting only 11, Wright still wrangled in 57 catches for 715 yards and 6 touchdowns. This all while taking passes from guys that might be delivering pizzas in 2015. Wright is a quick elusive wide out with big play potential that couldn’t be harnessed in 2014.

This year Marcus Mariota was drafted second overall by Ken Whisenhunt to run his offense. Mariota will likely need to acclimate to the speed of the NFL and things will take time to get going but Wright is the best option for Mariota at this point in the passing game. Add that to the fact that the Tennessee defense is terrible, and there is a lot of potential for Wright to rack up stats while they try to keep up (or catch up) in games. In a changing offensive attack that none of us have seen yet, Wright is worth taking a risk on late in your draft and could deliver big numbers at his value. I would give him an even better ranking in your point per reception leagues.
