Fantasy Profile: Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans had one of the best rookie seasons in the NFL last year, but it seemed too go unnoticed due to an even bigger season, and the flashy plays made by Odell Beckham Jr. Evans put up 68 receptions, 1051 yards and 12 touchdowns. He amassed those numbers despite the fact he had a variety of quarterbacks throwing him the ball, and none of those quarterbacks were very good.

This year Evans will have the NFL Draft’s number one pick in Jameis Winston throwing him the ball. Winston is a rookie but he should be better than any quarterback Tampa Bay had last year. With aging veteran Vincent Jackson falling to the number two spot, Evans could see an increase in the already great numbers he put up in his rookie season. He should be picked relatively high in all leagues, but is even more valuable in keeper leagues due to his age.
