Fantasy Profile: Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots
Rob Gronkowski started the 2014 season a little slow. By the end of the year he was number one in scoring amongst fantasy tight ends and led many to a fantasy title. He finished the year with 82 receptions for 1124 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is Tom Brady’s favorite option in the passing game because he is impossible to properly match up against. Even if Brady misses the first four games of the season, Gronkowski should still be heavily utilized in the passing game, and in helping the inexperienced Jimmy Garoppolo.
Gronkowski is in a unique position in fantasy because he is so far better than the second option at his position. He is on tier one all by himself and should be drafted highly in every format. The only concern here is the return of the injuries that plagued him in 2012 and 2013.
