Fantasy Profile: Jordan Cameron, TE, Miami Dolphins
Jordan Cameron relocated to Miami in the off-season and should produce much better numbers for the Dolphins than he did for the Browns. The weather is better for passing in Miami, he has a much better quarterback in Ryan Tannehill at the helm, and he is no longer the only threat in the passing game. Young receivers Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker will help balance out the attack, but Cameron should see plenty of targets. Tannehill has never been a deep-ball type of quarterback and is best at throwing the intermediate and shorter routes, areas where Cameron excels.
Cameron will abuse defenses in the middle of the field and head coach Joe Philbin has already claimed that Miami will attack the middle of the field more this season according to the Miami Herald. I predict that Cameron will be a top eight scorer at his position this year, so don’t be afraid to take him in the second tier of tight ends.
