Last year’s race was one of the lowest for the Anglo-Indian team as both drivers found themselves crashing out. Nico Hulkenberg found himself damaging his and Perez’s car at one point during the race, causing Perez to later spin and crash dramatically into the barriers due to a car failure. It is safe to say boss Vijay Mallya will be hoping for better, especially after the successful is slightly underwhelming performance of their new spec car at the last round in Silverstone.
2015 HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX FORCE INDIA PREVIEW
The Hulk has been on top form recently with 24 points in the championship and lying ninth while teammate Perez only has 15 points, lying in 12th place in the drivers’ championship. However, it was after this race last year that the German’s form began to tumble. However, it seems that both drivers are confident that they can get more out of their new Force India car, meaning they might still have a fight on their hands after all. According to Vijay Mallya, that fight is over fourth place in the constructors championship.
There is currently a lot of hype around Nico at the moment with Ferrari rumours rife, meanwhile Perez seems content at Force India, although has revealed that he expects at least another decade in F1, but doubts all of that time will be at the Silverstone based squad. Whatever the case, the Hulk is no stranger to rumours and is doing a fine job at the moment. While Perez has security in the form of his Mexican billions, but must up his form soon.
