YCCL: Semifinals set; Dunk, Three Point Champ Crowned & more

During game one of the 2015 Playoffs, Jameel McKay lead his team to a high scoring victory with 44 points and 11 boards. Billy Wampler of Drake, added 28.
McKay looked as good as he ever has throwing down a few dunks, and not being afraid to get wild with them. The 6’9″ Senior also hit a three in someone’s face impressing his teammates that watched court side.
YMCA scored 125 with just six players, including the least ammount of points scored being nine.

Iowa State walk-on Jordan Ashton made 25 in a YCCL Three point shooting record during the Semifinals.

Matt Thomas showed off his three point shooting ability in the three contest, and also showed it during his game later on Friday Night.

Deonte Burton showed off his dunks yet again during the contest, and made sure there was little doubt on who would get the win. Ore Arogundade attempted to stop Burton, but failed on a between the legs attempt. Burton won the contest with a 50 point slam.

Deonte Burton had 36 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists during Friday Night’s second game, half of which, it seemed like, were dunks.
In a losing effort, Ore Arogundade put up 48 points while Matt Thomas shot 4-8 from three.
